Declaring a claim
- Car accident. Fill in the constat amiable and take it to your Wafa Assurance agent within 5 days. With Ta3wid Sari3, launched in 2015, an accident recorded on a constat drawn up by a Wafa IMA Assistance inspector is declared and paid in one visit to your agent.
- Breakdown or accident on the road. The Wafa Assurance mobile app, available since 2017, sends your position to get roadside assistance.
- Other claims. Contact the agent, broker or Attijariwafa bank branch that sold you the contract: they open the file with Wafa Assurance.
- Declare within 5 days of learning of the loss (60 days for an officially declared catastrophic event), in writing, and keep a copy.
- Send what proves the loss: the constat amiable for a car accident, the police report for a theft or injuries, photos and invoices.
- Do not repair or throw anything away before the insurer's expert has seen it, unless it is urgent.

- Write to Wafa Assurance's complaints service, or to your agent or broker, with your contract number and copies of your documents. Keep proof that you sent it.

Questions
Is Wafa Assurance an approved company?
Yes. Wafa Assurance is on the list of companies approved by ACAPS, the regulator. Before you pay, you can check that list, and the map of approved agents and brokers, on acaps.ma.
Does Assurlik sell Wafa Assurance's contracts?
No. Assurlik sells nothing and takes no commission. To buy, use Wafa Assurance's own channels, or ask several insurers for a quote.
What is Ta3wid Sari3?
Wafa Assurance's fast settlement for car accidents, launched in 2015. When the constat is drawn up by an inspector from Wafa IMA Assistance, the claim is declared and paid in a single visit to your agent.
